Alexis Smoak and her fraternal sister, Felicity, have been inseparable since birth. They both work together in the IT Department of Queen Consolidated. When Alexis heard how Oliver Queen had died five years ago, she was shocked and sad because the young boy she used to know was now gone.

When Oliver and Alexis were six years old, they went to school together and became friends. After a year, Oliver left to attend a private school and Alexis never saw him again. But she didn't forget Oliver.

When Oliver died, she got close to the family and friends that he left behind. Alexis became the glue that kept them together and helped them move on from their losses. But then Oliver is found alive and well, finally returning home.

Alexis now has a choice to make. Should she stay close to the Queen family and get to know Oliver or should she distance herself from them? In the beginning, Alexis chooses the latter but it seems like the Queen family and especially Oliver won't allow her to. It's seems no woman can say no to the famous Oliver Queen.

When a vigilante shows up, he sparks a fire inside Alexis that she never knew she had inside herself. Inspired by the man in the hood, Alexis wants to help save the city. But Oliver Queen seems to want to keep her out of danger. Why? Alexis has no clue, but then again nobody knows Oliver's motives for anything.
