At birth, everyone was given a tattoo of the date they were guaranteed to die. There were pills to make you forget things if a major casualty happened and your whole life was planned out.
There was a boy. His name is Jeagan. He fell in love with a girl he wasn't supposed to and didn't die in his guaranteed date. With the government tries to figure out where they went wrong, Jeagan sneakily continues his relationship with the girl called Johya.

Before I even give a description I need to say one thing: This story is something I wrote to give all my friends as a Christmas present, but I didn't do what most people would. What I did was I wrote each friend a different ending. There are 21 different endings to this one story. The first-I think-ten parts-the ones that are pretty much titled by seemingly random number-are the same in all of the versions of the story. After that I just have the extra endings.
