Carson Evers is a typical teenage girl. She loves hanging out with her friends and being an annoying little sister to her brother Matt. Matt is Carson's role model. He taught her how to play the piano when she was 10 years old. Now at 17, she is playing like a pro. On a rainy night, Matt and Carson were driving home from the movie theater. Out of no where, ran a red light and hit them hard. They were rushed to the hospital when the ambulance arrived. Carson suffered from multiple cuts and bruises, as well as a concussion and a sprained shoulder. Matt was rushed into surgery and pronounced dead at 11:23 pm. Carson took the news terribley. She blamed herself for wanting to see the movie so bad, that Matt took her. At the funeral, Matt's best friend Josh Russo confronts Carson. Carson wants nothing to do with Josh, even though they are pretty good friends. Carson doesn't want anything in her life that reminds her of Matt, so she stops playing the piano. Josh keeps popping up everywhere Carson is, so she decides to let him in. Will Josh be able to get through to Carson and help her get over her brother's death? Or will Carson resent Josh for trying to help her? Go through the journey of Carson and Josh as they mourn the death of Matt and share a few special moments along the way.
