I reached the door and slid it open. I stepped out into the wooden platform and stood still in the cool air. I closed my eyes for a second, taking in the presence of the woods and feeling the cool breeze of the night blow through my loose hair. I stood there, taking deep breaths. In, out. In, out.

"Hello?" I heard a deep, startling voice, interrupt.
