Great Guardian of the Golden Gate

Nathan was a known student in their university. But when his secret came out, his name was tarnished and everyone turned their backs on him, including his friends.

He can't accept that these things were happening because of their current status, that their once luxurious life were gone. And they are living their poor life now.

But an unexplainable things happened when he suddenly entered a portal that led him to a magical world, the Phantomia. There he met Elena, a witch who told him that the only way he can go back to his world is through the golden gate, and it can only be opened by the great guardian. But the problem is, the great guardian was missing.

His quest for the great guardian started. But fate seems to be playful, because a great responsibility was bestowed upon him, and that is to be the new great guardian of the world that is stranger to him.

How can he possibly do his responsibility, if the reason behind why he suddenly went there was because of his urge of escaping his current situation? Will he do his duty, or will he just do the things he always does on his problems, and that is to escape?
