It was really cold in the room. No one was talking to me, in fact no one was talking at all. I looked over at Liam. His eyes were red and puffy from the constant tears. I quickly closed my eyes at the horrific sight of my best mate so torn up over the death of someone so close to him. He was close to us all, but Liam had a special connection with him. Something that words can’t explain. When they were together, I swear sparks flew. They had something incredible, something that no one could ever re create. Now it was over. Liam would never get to see him again, but instead of dwelling on his death, I think I should bring you back to where it all started. The day Zayn Malik and Liam Payne fell in love.

Liam and Zayn were the power couple in their high school, Liam being the captain of the football team and Zayn being the captain of the dance team. Everyone around school loved them, and knew they would both amount to a lot, sticking together forever. Or at least that's what they thought.
