The story starts with Gerry, an unlikely young entrepreneurs introduction to the esoteric sciences. Fascinated by the power of the newfound knowledge and discovery of "thought forms", he sees no reason not to apply his new found knowledge to his fledgling business...

The initial meteoric success of his new fashion business, Shark Shirts, is soon shattered by the dire consequences of his ignorance. Not for a moment had he even imagined that his omnipotent created shark, hungry for more, would ever turn on him... the creator as a source of the next snack! As he watches his business and the people he thought his friends, systematically stripped away, in the depths of despair and insolvency, he swallows his pride and turns again to his teacher for help. Deemed his lesson now learnt, Maxine points out the stupidity of his poor choice and judgment and sends him off again into the world, a little humbler..... and a little wiser.

The Catalyst is the story of the application of this new found knowledge and the creation of a new business or thought form, that morphs into an ethical, apolitical Foundation, reinvesting it's profits and resources back into improving society, the quality and way of life. It is not long before Gerry realises that he has been the catalyst to something much larger than he ever could have imagined and still it continued to grow!

The success of the HAND foundation, had to a large degree, replaced peoples need or interest in government and politics. But whilst they had removed the interest in politics, they had not removed the politicians... and as usual, politicians had their own agenda....And realising the Foundation had the ear of the people, the Government tries to enlist their support to steer the group consciousness into what can only be.... the final war.
