Jess was born different. You would think that would result in her being seen as special, but that's not the way her pack interprets it. They see her as weak, and in her weakness they use her and abuse her. Things get old, and Jess is tired of being a play thing. She ran into the most powerful pack of them all the Red dawn pack. They take her into their pack and discover that she's not just a wolf but a hybrid.
