When someone faces pain for so long, they learn to tolerate it and start hiding all of their emotions.
My past is something I fear bringing up or all the emotions that have been boxed up, will come flooding out.
I haven't been happy in a long time, but I can't let anyone know that.
The words 'I'm fine.' are so familiar to me, that I don't even have to think before saying them.
