Since Colin’s parents got a divorce, Colin never believed in love. After college graduation, Colin spent his days in front of his computer trying to finish the book he started a quite some time now. On the first chapter, he had written more than a sentence but less than a paragraph, he badly wanted to write a book but how? The writer’s block seemed like a huge void in his head that he can’t seem to fill. Colin’s routine disappoints him. Sure, he could write weekly haikus and messy limericks but he tried everything to solve the mystery behind his incapability to write a book, searched for solutions only find none. Just as Colin was about to accept and to give up on his dream, little did he know that everything’s going to change… And of all the questions, he had to ask Why?

15 parts Complete
Caleb is definitely a troubled child. Alone, with nothing going for him, he attempts to take his own life but fails at his first attempt. He desperately wants to try again but is put under constant supervision, especially by his new doctor, Dr Palmer. Dr Palmer becomes more and more involved in Caleb’s life, trying to help him see that his life is worth living through various methods. Eventually, the two build up a trusting and understanding relationship and Dr Palmer allows Caleb to do things that his parents would have never have let him do so soon after something so tragic. Caleb gets his life back on track, enrolling at college and even meeting a girl whom he used to know as a child. The two of them begin to date each other, and everything seems great for a while. That is, until Caleb remembers the reason that he tried to commit suicide in the first place, revealing a secret that shatters his new found confidence. As things at home begin to deteriorate too, Caleb’s situation goes from bad to worse. The only person who knows the truth, Dr Palmer, leaves him to stand on his own two feet, declaring him cured. He starts back at college full time, and becomes ever closer with Stephanie, the only person whom he feels that he can trust. When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide. However, they are just trying to build a case against his father. In desperation, Caleb tried to reach out to Dr Palmer, against the advice of his mother. As his life spirals out of control, Dr Palmer makes him realise that the only way he can carry on is to come clean and reveal his secret. In a shocking final twist, everything is revealed to be not what it seems, and Caleb finds out that he will be ok, no matter what happens to him.

7 parts Complete

So I read this fic ages ago but it wasn't complete and it hadn't been updated since 2014 and I really want to finish it so I decided to finish it myself, however, all credit for the idea and the first chapter goes to jaeparker on archiveofourown and their fic was called 'your graduation'. This is their summary: Michael and Gavin grew up together. Inseparable. best friends for life. Until One day Gavin just stops talking to Michael entirely. Right when Michael needs his best friend most, he's gone in an instant. Gavin leaves Michael to deal with school, growing up, and the loss of both of his parents alone. I in no way claim any credit to the idea of this story, however all writing from chapter 2 onwards is entirely my own and I also edited the first chapter but the ideas are all based on the original story.
