Since Colin’s parents got a divorce, Colin never believed in love. After college graduation, Colin spent his days in front of his computer trying to finish the book he started a quite some time now. On the first chapter, he had written more than a sentence but less than a paragraph, he badly wanted to write a book but how? The writer’s block seemed like a huge void in his head that he can’t seem to fill. Colin’s routine disappoints him. Sure, he could write weekly haikus and messy limericks but he tried everything to solve the mystery behind his incapability to write a book, searched for solutions only find none. On one rainy day, a lonesome Literary school student awoke from his sleep, and see's his Open PC which displayed a blank page on its screen. Seeing this reminded him of his stagnant, unfulfilling, and dull life. Even though he wants to write, he finds himself wasting his precious hours on playing games and watching videos on the internet. Hating himself for not only wasting his parents' money for the school tuition, but he also hates himself for all his wasted opportunities. He continues with his days of misery until one day, a friend of his invites him to go out and walk around the city. With nothing else to do he accepts his invite. Regret, fatigue, anxiety, and never-ending self-pity, all of these have haunted him in his past 2 years and hampered his progress, but in this short trip with his friend helps him take his first steps in combating and adjusting towards those uncomfortable feelings and rekindles a passion that he has long lost.

Sparks burn down castles and love floods fortresses around hurt hearts in this romance story, that tells on how Colin McCrae, hotshot lawyer, and Rachel Hollister, teacher extraordinaire, crossed paths. ... Following the end of "Gilmore girls: A year in the life", this story starts in January 2018. Some characters are my own, those from the original show "Gilmore girls" obviously belong to ASP. I use them for the purpose of this story only. As it is, most of the main characters from the show will only be marginally involved as this story centers around Colin. Also, there will be some explicit, smutty chapters. However, those won't be part of the main story and will be clearly marked. So, if that kind of writing / topic isn't up your alley, you can just ignore those.

As things at home begin to deteriorate too, Caleb’s situation goes from bad to worse. The only person who knows the truth, Dr Palmer, leaves him to stand on his own two feet, declaring him cured. He starts back at college full time, and becomes ever closer with Stephanie, the only person whom he feels that he can trust. When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide. However, they are just trying to build a case against his father. In desperation, Caleb tried to reach out to Dr Palmer, against the advice of his mother. As his life spirals out of control, Dr Palmer makes him realise that the only way he can carry on is to come clean and reveal his secret. In a shocking final twist, everything is revealed to be not what it seems, and Caleb finds out that he will be ok, no matter what happens to him.
