Grace’s POV
*flashback 4 weeks ago*

“LUKE” I screamed at the top of my lungs as I ran and jumped into his arms. He spun me around and then placed me back on my feet.

“Gracie poo” He chuckled as he kissed the top of my head. “I missed you so much” He whispered.

“Take me with you next time” I sighed, dramatically causing him to laugh.

“You know I would, if I could Grace” He looked sad for a moment but then brushed it off.

*end of flashback*

You see, most people would have thought that, they were a couple but no, they aren’t a couple.

By “they”, I meant me and Luke.

Hi, Im Grace. Well my actual name is Gracie but nobody apart from Luke actually calls me that.

Luke and I are best friends, have been since like 3rd grade when a kid pushed me off the swing and he defended me.

Ever since, we’ve been inseparable.

Well apart from when, you know, he tours. Which is a lot.

I miss when he would come home from a gig and then we would have a sleepover and eat all night.

But now, we don’t

Because of one little person that I like to call the “firebreathingdragon” that’s one word okay.

The firebreathingdragon is what I call Avery.

Avery is Luke’s girlfriend.

Not that I care but she’s a monster.

That monster so happens to hate my guts, like a lot of other people.
