In this sequel series to 'Those Who Dwell in the Dark: Baron's Hollow'- Children of the Grave follows our leads in the months after the fallout of the attack on their hometown. After performing some damage control and getting a newly assigned partner, Victoria has taken the children under her wing and has begun training them to keep Baron's Hollow safe from the ever-present demonic threat now that Vaughn isn't around to defend it anymore. Over the remainder of their summer, they have to learn to utilize their newfound abilities effectively, as well as learn to balance their double lives- during the day they're normal teenagers, but at night they kill monsters.
As the mystery of Baron's Hollow deepens and the psychological toll on everyone begins to cost them all in different ways, a new enemy appears on the horizon that wishes to finish what their previous adversary started. As friendships and romances bloom and decay, minds and temperaments are tested in ways no one previously thought possible as everyone navigates through their not-so-normal lives . Over the course of one summer and one semester, everyone begins to learn the absolute truth of their new way of life:
