I was walking down an alleyway in NY looking for something to finish my project, like a lighter, to melt a few crayons. I seen a man, who pulled out a cigarette, then a lighter. Before he could properly ignite the cigarette, I bumped into him causing both the lighter and cigarette to slip out of his hands.
"I am so sorry! I didn't see you there at all." I lied of course, picking up the fallen objects.
"It's fine, mistakes happen." I handed him the almost lit cigarette and began to walk away. He must have realized I kept the lighter because he started to run after me.
I looked back and noticed, so I began to run.
