Mikhal Minters and Brayden Draper had been friends for about 3 years now, and had many things in common. They both liked music, games, and generally liked to be weird with each other. They were about the same age, Brayden being a little older than Mikhal.
Brayden was a wiz kid, with all sorts of contraptions and amazing machines, made with mostly junkyard parts. Mikhal was the creative one. She sat all day, creating masterful works of art and music. Most of all, both of them were huge bronies.
However, things weren't the greatest for them. They both had unfortunate experiences with humanity, and agreed that they could only trust each other. Brayden's family hated him, and he would constantly get called "unmanly" by his six brothers, and he had nobody at school except Mikhal. Mikhal, however, somehow had it worse. Mikhal had only her mother, which might as well mean that she was an orphan. Her mom would sit in her chair all day, smoking and drinking away what little money they had. Brayden and Mikhal had agreed that if they ever got the chance, they would leave forever.
One day, they finally did.
