The Malakhite Families' experiment has finally come to fruition. Cameron Walden (now the Avatar of the Phoenix) proved to be the perfect host for the fallen angel Adina during the Holy War. All that's required is to obtain her blood and isolate its angelic component... which is easier said than done. When Zuriel and the other six Heads of the Malakhite Families head to the Northwest Safe Haven to meet Cameron, they expect smooth sailing and cooperation.
