A southern belle by the name of Catherine Campell, recently wed and ready to settle down and have a family of her own, finds out her supposedly loving husband is a cheating good for nothing man whore and ends his infidelities with bullet from her gun. She skips town, her heart turned to ice, and finds a young girl who goes by Rhody, freshly covered in the scarlet blood of a miscreant. Touched by Rhody's love for the taste of blood, Catherine offers the girl a fresh start, and together they show the Wild West who it truly belongs to, leaving a scarlet trail behind them.
(AN: this story was greatly inspired by Hit And Run by LOLO, so listen to it if you get the chance, I may even throw in a few song lyrics ;). I may make an extended playlist for this book, mind you it may have a lot of Panic! At The Disco, LOLO, Set It Off, Boy Epic, and Halsey as they inspired some key elements. Also this story clearly takes place in the Wild West era, but it will have a steampunk twist to it, though I will try to make things make sense for that time period, just with steampunk strewn about to spice it up.)
