[A transcript of the last audio broadcast out Las Vegas, Nevada; Tuesday the 7th of March, 2028.]
Hello, there are survivors still uninfected in North Las Vegas. If anyone can hear this, please, respond to the signal on any frequency. Four biochemical bombs were dropped on the city on the 5th of February, turning the local people's hostile. The infected will kill you, if you come into contact with an infected person, stay cautious and know they are hostile and carry some sort of biochemical virus. We do not know how this happened or why, but we need the world to know we are here. Please, if you can hear this please respond on the signal on any frequency. My name is Oshian, we are looking for other uninfected people...this broadcast is played twice a day on all AM radio frequencies, there are survivors in North Las Vegas, I repeat, there are survivors in North Las Vegas.

The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. The bombs hit in 2021, it not only decimating the population, but destroying cities and miles of landscape surrounding them. Some bombs didn't explode, instead they held an infectious disease which not only infected the population, killing massive amounts of people, but crippled the areas, and at times left craters where they landed. The few survivors are spreading out, making it harder for the muraders from track them down and kill them. Unfortunately, the populations of survivors are dwindling fast and soon human's may become extinct. There's not much left except the will to survive in what was once a great nation. There's supposedly a group of well-lead individuals, somewhere in the midwest, making life as they knew it work again. But to get there, Kathy Underwood will have to face a monster she never considered before now; mankind. It's her goal to survive, but is it even possible with the odds stacked against her?Complete

What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in.
