❝hidden in this book of old, water of life and tears of gold.❞ Another year has begun at Anubis House, and Ashley Adams is back with it. An old foe has returned with a familiar agenda, while a new student (American, of course) shows up, and Ashley can't explain why he's so familiar to her. ❝i think we might be connected.❞ Sixteen year old Ashley Adams has lived what one might call a normal life. Sure, she's been raised by her sister for the past decade after their parents died, and yeah, she's an Australian going to a boarding school in England named after icons in Egyptian mythology, but you know, pretty normal. Then her entire world changes with the disappearance of her roommate and a new American student arriving in her place - and Nina Martin has a locket in the shape of the Eye of Horus which seems to be connected to Ashley's own Ankh charm, which has been passed through her family for nearly a century. With Nina and a few friends she didn't expect, Ashley takes on a quest that gives her answers about her family she never expected, and opens up new avenues of her life for her to explore. Force of Nature ▸ House of Anubis [3]
❝rise in peace.❞ At nearly eighteen years old, Ashley Adams has had a much more complicated life than others her age. Besides the normal issues teenagers face (can anyone say relationship drama?), she and her mystery club called Sibuna have been witness to the finding and creation of the Cup of Ankh, and they've been cursed by a forgotten ruler of Egypt and forced to locate the Mask of Anubis. Now it's time for senior year, and they're down a member of Sibuna, and a new American girl arrives with secrets of her own and a mysterious key. There is a reawakening about to happen, and the further down the rabbit hole Ashley falls, the more likely it is she won't be able to crawl back up. The mystery deepens, as they say.
