Dreaming is one thing, but nightmares? They bring out your worst fears. Eryn has been having nightmares each night ever since she turned sixteen. She doesn't know how or why she gets them, but what she'll later find out will change her life forever. Ever since her encounter with a dark, shadowy figure and a mysterious girl, Lorelei, she has been receiving chilly receptions and the paranoia of being watched. What even further complicates things is when she meets a guy named Asher who seems to be a whole other mystery himself. With a desperate need to solve the mystery behind her night terrors, Eryn will stop at nothing to put them at rest, but at what cost?

Seventeen years ago, Skyler was born in the most dreadful way. In a puddle of blood, left for dead. But Skyler was never alone. Eight spirits are connected to him. Every night he says goodbye to one of the spirits, and the next morning he is greeted by another. He is a foster child in a home where no one cares about him, goes to a school where bullies have now targeted him, and not only that, he has a growing suspicion that he might love someone he probably shouldn't really love. The only thing that gives him some security is the spirits. They are his family, his friends. But after getting too close to the spirits' and his own past, the young man ends up fighting for his life.
