Pollyanna is a shy girl with a terrible home life and a nonexistent social one.  
     Matt is a cute, tall football player that Pollyanna has always had her eye on, and she's not the only one. 
     Her best friend Max has secretly been dating Matt and Polly doesn't ever want to be around them when they're together.
     Then one day, Matt has a talk with Polly. His dad recently left and now he's stuck with his unstable mother and his 8 year old brother. 
     After showing him the ropes about dealing with an 8 year old and a needy parent, Polly and Matt get close...maybe a little too close.
