renaissance || beyonce • aaliyah
Her powerful and provocative artistry fails to capture the hearts of those who don't quite understand her message. Often overlooked in the art world, Beyoncé has struggled for years to gain the respect of her peers. That all changes when she meets Aaliyah, a highly successful producer and DJ in the music industry. Through their artistic passions and emotional intimacy, these two black women find kindred spirits in one another. Their bond helps each other tap into their creative potential and share their vision with the world. This is a story of not just artistic liberation, but personal growth, self-acceptance, and embracing one's truth. Born anew.
