I was working like I always do waiting for tonight to get off work and go with my friend to the beach to watch the eclipse. but today felt different don't know why it just is. I looked outside it was cloudy and still and somewhat quiet brushed it off and did my work before my shift will end.

I am fifteen. My hair is blonde and my eyes are crystal grey. Hahaha thought I was gonna say blue, huh? My life was pretty normal. I walk to school everyday, walk home afterwards. Simple really. I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.Concluida

Every night, I've looked out my window, just watching for it. They say the monster you see is better than the monster you don't. But, no one who's seen this monster has been able to describe it for us. No one's survived to. For some reason though, I can't help but look. I bet that's why the tourists don't come back from the woods, because they can't stop themselves from looking. That's how it catches them. I hope it doesn't catch me.Concluida
