My eyes trail down to the bloody, mangled body near his claws. I'm shaking, but I stood my ground.

"Why?" I manage to speak, my voice quivering with fear.

He lets out a yowl of laughter, "It's my preference that everyone dies at my claws, it's that simple."

Perhaps Magpiepaw should of told the Medicine Cat of her first visions. After all, it would have made things so much easier to understand.

Now Magpiepaw is forced to face her own wicked mind alone, and it's a very dangerous place.
