Teagan Rae Harley is just trying to figure out how to get out from under her brother's shadow when she starts at a new school for her Junior year. Quickly after starting school, she receives news that her dad and older brother were Killed in Action during a tour in Afghanistan. Teagan Rae has always dreamed of following them and pursuing a career in the military after she graduates, and she makes a promise to herself to follow that dream to honor her dad and brother.
But what happens when she switches to a boarding school because the memories of losing her dad and brother were too strong at her current school? And what happens when she meets Finn and Asher, the two boys who help deal with her family's death and overcome a past that haunts her?
Will she stay true to her promise and choose to join the military, or will she choose the boy she fell in love with and pursue a career that doesn't put her life in danger.

Quick note: I haven't touched this book since I started writing it like 7 years ago when I was 15, which means that some of the writing is cringe-worthy. It will be edited eventually, but it hasn't been yet.
