Jake Edwards, a star quarterback whose life is practically laid out for him. He knows what he's going to do. He speaks his mind, and is a person who thrives on it.

Their worlds collide Jake's grades started slipping, Ava is recruited as his tutor. But what happens when Jake realizes Ava was his dream girl in the 9th grade, before she left suddenly? Jake finds himself falling for her again, while Ava, has no time to think about love, when everyone she does love has disappeared.  Jake makes it his goal to make her fall in love with him.

But what if what they actually need isn't a significant other.
