The Commonwealth (A Fallout Story)

The Commonwealth takes place in the years 2285-2292, almost 210 years after what was called the "Resource War" over natural resources that ended in a nuclear holocaust in 2077 which left the world in ruins and destruction. The story as told by various people of the land takes place in the area of what used to be Boston, Massachusetts and other parts of New England, as referred in the story as "The Commonwealth".

Life in the Commonwealth isn't easy. The life which was once beautiful and dense is now destroyed and barren. Radiation from the nuclear missiles still lingers throughout the land devouring up anything that lives. Food is mostly contaminated and water even though being in abundance around the Commonwealth is tainted full of radiation. The men and women who worry much about the elements of nature also have to take in the danger of the wasteland, whether it be of raiders who scavenge the area looking for supplies, to the abominations of the sick and twisted that were formed within the land creating creatures never seen before. It is tough here. Life expectancy isn't high but their is hope. Hope for a better tomorrow, a tomorrow that will bring peace, a tomorrow that will bring life back to this dead land.

This is written accounts of various characters in the Commonwealth, who some are trying to survive, some trying to find a better life, and others trying to hide. These are their stories.

Accounts from this story have many parts of fallout lore that has been put in place but also has many different aspect apart from that which alters the fallout experience slightly. Hope you enjoy the read.
