Avery Adeline Sawyer was the typical 17 year old girl who had a crush on the most popular guy in school.   You would always see her with a smile on her face.  //  But you didn't see the slits on her wrists, the tear stains on her pillow case, or her protruding rib cage due to a severe eating disorder. 
    
    Tyler Robert Joseph was the typical 18 year old boy who was considered the most popular kid in school.  You would always see him with a basketball under his arm or a smirk on his face.  //  But you didn't see   his tear-filled eyes at midnight, his sad song lyrics about suicide, or how he desperately wanted to help Avery, who assumed he had no idea who she was,  because he knows all to well what it's like to hide depression.
