After weirdmagedon the pines family has their annual family reunion, similar to that fateful summer.

2 years later, during the 2nd family reunion of the pines, Mabel, Dipper, Soos, Wendy, and a few other friends all venture out into the forest.

They spend their time telling campfire stories, making s'mores, and talking about their experiences outside of Gravity Falls.

But, unknowingly to them, they had unleashed an evil sprit, that Can't be defeated by a wheel, and has a very familiar face
