The Stammering Princess
WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOUR FAMILY ABANDONED YOU AT A MERE AGE OF 5? Her face was a map of sorrow, etched with the lines of rejection and the scars of a loveless existence. The mark on her face seemed to pulse with the pain of abandonment, a constant reminder of the family that cast her aside like a flawed relic. Her eyes, once bright with hope, had dimmed to a faint glow, like embers of a fire that had long gone cold. Her face a canvas of shame, bearing the mark of rejection and the scars of a loveless past. Yet, amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope whispered tales of a love that could heal the deepest wounds, and a heart that could revive the deadest of souls. THE STORY IS ABOUT A GIRL - WHOSE FAMILY ABANDONED HER AT THE AGE OF 6 BECAUSE SHE STAMMER AND A HAVE A MARK ON HER FACE . SHE ALWAYS YEANS FOR LOVE. HER FATHER THINK OF HER AS A SPOT ON THEIR FAME AND NAME. HER FAMILY IS A WELL KNOWN PERSONALITY IN UNDERWORLD AND BIGGEST MAFIA IN INDIA AND ALSO WELL KNOWN BUSINESSES MAN. WHAT HAPPENED WHEN SHE REUNITE WITH HER FAMILY AFTER YEARS BUT SHE IS NOT THE SAME . HER BROTHERS HATE HER. SHE IS IN DEPRESSION AND NOT THE SAME BUBBLY GIRL BUT WITH LESS CONFIDENCE AND HATE HERSELF. WHAT WILL HAPPENED WHEN SHE WILL REUNITE WITH HER 5 BROTHERS ,STEP SISTER AND HER PARENTS? Liz grew up in a house that looked picture perfect. A Mother, Father and younger sister. Looks are deceiving. Sir, her father, is an alcoholic and drug abuser. When he's sober, he's the greatest guy to be around. When drunk, he's someone to avoid. Liz learned at a young age it was better to be seen and not heard. When Sir got drunk, Liz stayed in her room and struggled to be quiet so she didn't draw attention to herself. She began using her imagination at a young age to self soothe. Liz had a full family, who were loving and supporting in her imaginary world. As she got older, her imaginary world changed. Gone were the fantastical beasts from her childhood, sand replaced with her imaginary perfect family, perfect boyfriend, perfect everything. When things got tough, Liz escaped reality. Now, as an adult, wife and mother, when tragedy strikes she finally needs to learn to live fully in the real world. Can she give up her perfect world?Complete

People think they know you by what they see, they believe that what is shown on the outside is a reflection of what is on the inside, but they're wrong. Things can be much darker then the candy skin you see on the outside, the happy mask you come to know so well is just hiding the left overs of a broken, beaten, sad and lonely girl. Family, friends, people you have given so much trust just leaves you to fight for your own, never looking back on the girl they betrayed. Life is not full of happy families and butterflies, life is hard and unfair, it can kill you off if it wanted to and beat you down even more for the fun of it all.Complete
Time Can't Heal This
I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.Complete
