Jace is living the high life. His parents are paying to get him into college anyway, so studying isn't an issue, he has girls lining up across the block just to speak to him, he's the biggest player money can buy - and he loves it.
But when Jace meets Isabelle, a more natural California beauty, with a sweet personality who seems resistant to his charm, he finds himself losing his touch.
In quite a predicament, he gets his parents to pay her personally to spend a Summer with him in his beach house. Of course, Isabelle isn't rich and her parents need the money an awful lot, so she reluctantly comes with Jace.
Jace has a Summer to get Isabelle to adore him like every other girl in his school, and Isabelle has a Summer to make sure that doesn't end up the case - but when a female and a male teenager live together, alone, right next to the beach, romance blooms and soon they find out they're falling for each other despite themselves...
