The year is 2056 The world as we know it has suffered a 'cleansing' process known as the 'take over'. This cleaning process wiped out more than two thirds of the earths population and counting and has replaced them with extraterrestrial type life forms. The se supernatural beings are unknown to the human race. They are stronger, faster, get a thrill from killing people and surprisingly look just like human beings. The only physical difference a small marking under the left shoulder blade. 17 year old Shana is an American girl with a need for help in the wasteland that has now been called her home as she struggles to survive the guilt and loneliness that comes with this new world. And Hunter, as he calls himself, is a mysterious being who is unknown as human... Or monster. The Earth crumbles and Shana must find a way to survive the take over, while unknowingly being watched by a very peculiar Hunter.
