James Blaylark thought he was a normal teenager, until one day he is taken by two strangers who begin to tell him stories that turn his world upside down. Stories about the supernatural. Stories about Puritys, supernatural creature who posses pure abilities: invisibility, mind reading, seeing into the future. Crossairs, creatures who posses darker abilities: some are vampires, some are werewolves, and some are even witches and warloks. And Leuidines, creatures who are able to posses whatever power they choose: by killing someone who already possesses that power of course.  He is suddenly on the run from an evil society called The Cleansers, who want to hunt down every last supernatural creature and kill them in order to take over full control of the human population.  Now James must work with these people in order to stop the evilness from occuring and save not only his friends, but himself.
