Norma is a young lady, soon to move on towards collage, and bigger things. However, as her time ticks down, as her life within the sanctuary of code and pattern comes to an end, what once was a hatred for school, has now turned into a longing. Doing everything she can to stay within these walls, she watches to clock. Almost dreading every minute between every clicking move of the clock upon the wall. She doesn't know whether this is anxiety. Like what she used to get as her friend dragged her to parties like in the previous years. Or maybe it was something bigger than even herself. Everyday seems to be a battle of the tides. And as her friends mysteriously go missing, one by one, she now seems to recall just how lonely this world feels; just after receiving reconciliation. warning -- dark thoughts; cursing; perhaps slight gore; sexual scenes; etc. most likely not apparent within the first few chapters.
