No need to worry about criminals anymore, as they're immediately detected during the Sanity Check test, or SCT for short. Even if their Insanity isn't spotted during the test, the Abnormalities will take care of them - whoever they are. You could say that the Abnormalities are just a special kind of undercover cop - intelligent, fast and they always capture the target no matter what the circumstances. There's one thing that everyone's questioning, though; are the Abnormalities just an urban legend? As no one has actually seen them, let alone talk to one, which is why they're being hunted down and tested to see what separates them from the human society.
But when Lucent Grace takes the test - what will be the outcome be when she's told that she'd been chosen - for what?
And what will happen when she comes face to face with a mass murderer who ends up accompanying her?
