This is the journal of the Jedi who is called Galen a gray Jedi by a certain few of the Jedi order. This Journal is taken from the clone wars on to the end of the empire. I also will be putting foot notes on the bottom of each chapter just because I want to and because if some people do not know what the reference is and/or just dont remember what it is from.

Confronting Fear
"When I offer you my hand again, you'll take it." What if Kylo Ren had been right? What if Rey had taken Kylo Ren's hand when he offered it the second time, deciding her best chance at defeating Palpatine and saving the galaxy was with him? Poe buries himself in work as he tries to forget his failures and forge ahead. Leia attempts to cement her legacy and ensure the future of the galaxy. This fanfic explores a different ending to TROS starting at about the halfway point, when Kylo reveals the truth about Rey in the hangar. It will focus mainly on their story but there will be significant plot arcs that focus on Finn, Poe, Leia, and others. There will be a few augmentations to the earlier story, but I have tried to stay true to the plot up until this point, except for the 16 hr deadline Palpatine gave them. His threat was open ended in my version. Instead, Anakin Skywalker caused the downfall of the Jedi and the rise of power for the Dark Side. With Darth Vader the Dark Side grew strong yet in the end, he killed the Emperor, not only redeeming himself but also finally restoring balance to the Force as the prophecy had foretold. But by the time balance was restarted it was already too late... The Dark Side of the Force had a grip on the galaxy that the Light simply couldn't match.
