Just Look at the Stars

Have you ever wondered who that girl was outside of class? The one than never talks or raises her hand. The girl who is more than happy to work alone but will smile anyways if she's forced into a group. Always the first to finish a test and the first to leave the room. Keeps her head down in the halls and is never seen without earbuds in. The girl you've known since she was in your first grade class but never made eye contact with.

Yah I didn't think so.

No one ever does.

But they should.

Because her life is way more interesting than yours.

"I don't know. Who are you?" He doesn't look impressed.

"I'm serious. I've asked nearly everyone I know about you and no one knows anything but your name. I've even talked to your friends and they don't seem to know as much as I do about you. I probably know you better than you know yourself but I still can't figure you out. So who are you?"

I scoff. He doesn't know me. He never will. No one stays around long enough to figure it out. "You're not." He looks confused and blinks once. Twice. Three times. I just smirk. "No one knows me better than I do."
