After an especially brutal beating from his abusive boyfriend Carter Willows is rushed to the hospital. After an unfortunate chain of events he finds himself bound to a mental facility. Carter has been in the facility for months, severely depressed and unwilling to speak. He's too afraid. Adrian saved his life all those months ago. Now he's taking care of the broken boy he saved. Carter doesn't recognize him. Adrian doesn't recognize him either at first. His mission, given to him by his superior, is to convince Carter to open up. Nobody has heard the man speak once. He's hurting and he can't help to get better if he won't let it out. With two failed suicide attempts under his belt, Carter is just sinking lower and lower. Something about Adrian makes Carter feel like he can get better but he isn't sure if he's willing to try. Adrian is fascinated by Carter, he's never known anybody quite like him and all he wants is to help this shattered boy get better. They both imagine they could be more. The biggest flaw in their plan is Carter's ex Talon, he hasn't given up. He wants his boyfriend back. At any cost. ***

Also, this is a boyxboy story, so if you don't like hot steamy action between two boys, this is not the story for you. If you don't like it you shouldn't even be reading this anyway and I will not tolerate hate. You do not choose your sexuality and no one else has the right to make someone feel bad about who they are. Also, if any of you are having problems, or the story has triggered you, please inbox me.
