"You know, I never asked to be a bad girl."
Maya Heppard is the new girl at Charleston Academy (AKA the school for rich kids.) Thing is though, Maya isn't rich. She's not special and she doesn't have mommy and daddy's money to spend at her own will. She's just a lucky girl who takes a shot at a scholarship exam and manages to get accepted. She's nothing but the poor, new girl showing up a month after school started.
Who would've thought that she would be classified as the blonde, bad girl in almost less than a day though? She manages to somehow get on the queen bee's bad side solely because she's naturally blonde. How do you handle suddenly being the center of attention where everyone wants to get to know you?
With all the secrets, friendships, ripped jeans, piercings, skipping class, breaking the rules, and falling in love; how do you continue to hide it all and still stay strong?

Hey everyone! I haven't been motivated to write lately, so I haven't written any stories in a long time. This idea came into my head a little while ago and I decided to create a story out of it. I'm not the best at writing descriptions, but I hope you'll still check this book out!
Primrose was raised to be a perfect little girl her whole life, at a young age she was raised to perfection, kitten heels, dresses and manners of a lady. She met a boy named Xavier in preschool, a skinny little boy with glasses, she grew fond of the funny little boy and they became good friends despite his family being short of money. When Primrose was 8 and Xavier was 9 years old Xavier's Fathers business hit the jackpot and went sky high making them one of the richest families in the country. He moved away leaving primrose in her perfectly controlled life.
Years passed, Xavier changed in every way possible, he got contact lenses and his hair grew darker with age and he was toned and covered in tattoos. He was unrecognisable. Primrose however hadn't changed one bit, she had light blonde hair with soft curls and bright green eyes. She still wore perfect prim dresses and kitten heels and held herself like a lady and was kind to everyone even the worst of people. When Xavier returned to his home town at 19 he recognised primrose who is now 18. However she didn't recognise him.
(TW: I have made this story mature for very small reasons such as how her father treats her and her mother and it may be upsetting to some so please be mindful of this when reading the story. There is also bullying and controlling behaviour mentioned. Otherwise it's pretty PG within the book)
