A creation story that makes reference to themes found in many other First Nation stories about how the word came to be. First Nation communities have faced continued forms of erasure and control within Canada, so this story is aimed to shed some light (and possibly inspire some interest) in recognizing and understanding First Nation culture and communities. Themes that are often noted in creation stories include the Sky Woman, the Turtle, Sacrifice, Nature and Duality.

Although I make reference to some of these important themes, this is a story that I created myself and has no direct affiliation to the truth-telling of First Nation elders and their wisdom.

And Such Are Stones

11 parts Complete

This is the second in the series "A Book of Stories." The first book, "Of Stones and Such" paved the way for more offspring in this set. In some of these stories, you may find a few familiar names and places. There is quite a bit of violence and pseudo-sexual content. It's still not what I would classify as Mature, but there are themes that tickle the line, and there are also things that may seem offensive to some. Ah well ... Life is what it is. There's goodie-goodie stuff too ... just like in real life. Sometimes there is good in the bad, and bad in the good.
