Romance
21 year old Xolani Badu, a rising star on YouTube and social media, has just gotten accepted into one of her dream schools. FAMU was everything she wanted and didn't realize she needed. A late blossom to bloom it seems but heartache, fear and uncertainty have all played parts in her journey. She realized she had to face her ghosts and conquer her fears, although easier said than done. Nearly 3 years after high school and a year and a half since the incident and she's still afraid to face him. How much confusion could be caused by breathing the same air? Sonde Engel Basu has the world at his finger tips. The only thing that never strays too far from his mind is the brown skinned beauty who haunts his dreams. He is originally from Miami, Florida. Even though it's a vacation spot, many people dont realize it isnt all beaches and sunshine. When you're not trying to end up on someone t-shirt, you ball because a scholarship was the only way some could ever go to school. It doesn't matter the sport when you trying to secure a bag. He has it all. His dream school, his long time girlfriend, his grades look good and he's being asked about the NFL draft. What more could he want out of life? A chance at redemption? Maybe, closure? Two streams who intersect into the same river, the two can never flow separately it seems. Only time will tell what truly happens. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A disclaimer: Although the books main characters are based off of real peoples lives and have real moments from said persons life, everything in this book is completely fictional otherwise. Most locations, dates, names are all fictitious and if similar to real life are completely coincidental. Also majority of the past chapters are written in 3rd person and it switches to third person to better elaborate on each characters feelings.

Dear Olive, I hate you. I hate that you were born and that your human and have a face. I hate that you live next door to me and I hate that I can't sleep at night because the thought of you has forever left a vivid image creased in the back of my mind. And most of all, I hate that you hate me. Hate, Everest Since the first grade when Olivia Kingston and her family moved in right across the street from Kyle Everest, he had believed to have instantly hated her. (At least thats how he tells the story) And maybe it was just because of the mere fact of her existence, or maybe it was that time she ate the last fruit snack at lunch, or let's not forget, in fifth grade she stole his partner in crime, being his twin sister Madeline. Now being 17 years old Kyle Everest still holds this unknown resentment against his next door neighbor Olivia Kingston, and torches her in any possible way he can, but what would happen when Olivia finally gets sick of letting Kyle torcher her unexplainably? Everything would change in the matter of one day when Olivia accidentally gets them both locked in the principals office in search of the same thing: The truth. But while staying together in a cramped room with no phones and surviving off nothing but the secret stash of their principal, while the entire schools is off on spring break, secrets will be told and feeling will unravel. And let's not forget, hate letters will be sent. This book may seem light and fun but it has some mature scenes and dark thoughts that I'd suggest for viewers 16+
