"Dearest Sophia,

This isn’t a suicide note. It’s a goodbye note. I know we agreed to never say goodbye because it means never coming back. Well, I'm breaking that promise. I'm joining the Marines. I leave tomorrow. Maybe I could see you again in a different life."

That is how it went. The day Matthew said goodbye, he lost his love, his best friend, Sophia Baere. The next day, Matt was starting his five year deployment with the US Marines and Sophia was left with a only a note and pictures that used to be.
