The end is just the beginning. That's what people used to say before the disaster. They used to say it would solve itself. This was not the case.

Nova, Angel, Alexis, and Luke are four kids who are caught up in the world's disaster.

Global Warming has gone and cooked the world, and the government holds the remaining life in their protected city. As they and everyone else in the city are told, there is no life outside the city due to the excessive heat. But as the five kids run from the protection of the city for their own reasons, they all meet and find that not everything the government has been saying is true, and that there may still be a way to save the world yet.
