In 1920's New York a seventeen year old boy named John is planning to leave home. He wants nothing more than to be free, but his own personal vices, his abusive and vindictive "mother", and his poverty keep him locked in place.
Meanwhile Sherlock Holmes - a wealthy, twenty eight year old businessman - is living the high life; enjoying expensive luxuries, social status and sumptuous parties. From the outside it looks as though he's got it all, but in reality Sherlock has demons darker than the expensive suits he wears, and his life is much, much more empty than it appears. 

Then by a surprise twist of fate, the two cross paths and what John initially thought to be the very best thing to happen to him; could quite possibly be the worst.All Rights Reserved

Sherlock Holmes is a teen with a curse. Well, not exactly a curse- in fact, some call it a gift. His mind automatically analyzes any item or scene in front of him, unwelcome words popping into his sight and providing him with information he doesn't need. However, his pain and problems are lessened when he meets John Watson, a guy with a past that could bring nightmares to any reasonable person. Together, they grow close while sipping steaming cups of tea in a local cafe- and also by working together to solve the brutal murder of a peer.

John, 15 years old, moves with his family into a new house, which they could just afford, his stepfather, who is always drunk, hates John, which is why he often hides in closets to avoid being knocked out. Sherlock, 16 years old, realizes that a new family is moving in next door, actually Sherlock has no "feelings and friends" but when the gay boy meets John everything changes. enjoyyy <3

An interesting twist on the Sherlock universe-Sherlock is a girl. John, however, doesn't know this. Neither does Mrs. Hudson, or anyone else besides his direct family. This takes place sometime after series 2 or 3, with Mary only dating John. It will eventually contain a bit of Johnlock, with the usual tension and what-not throughout the whole story. But this isn't necessarily just a Johnlock story. There'll be other ships somewhat approached, but overall, it's more of a thriller (or at least, I'm trying to have it be). The more time they spend together the more John wonders, will they every really be friends, could they possibly be more than that one day?
