Numb

She was once the brightest girl around. She found happiness within the smallest of things. She had a beautiful soul, intertwined with such care and passion.
But as all rare things are, she was fragile. Put into the wrong hands, she was easily damaged. Through the damage, she shone through. However, each crack was irreplaceable, and one day, there was nothing left to give. One person had completely broken her, and scattered the pieces in a fashion in which could not be undone.
So, she became dark and cold. Her beauty had never ceased to exist, but it turned into an evil. A kind of beauty that could blind a man and tear him apart without him noticing.
