When Birchstripe is kicked out of Riverclan, he must adapt to being a rogue with his mate, Wild. However, since clan life is all he knows, the only option seems to be to make a clan. Birchstripe, Wild, Secret and Flame, four different cats, must work together to create four clans for the rogues and loners of the hostile Twolegplace. But when dangers threaten them at every turn, will they give up, or stand strong?
