Forever the new girl, Alyssa Chaplin can't be bothered with her money having more friends than her. So, she decides to try playing it regular and draw no attention to herself. She joins a small group of friends and stays out of the way of everybody. But that stays on track for about as long as you think. Lucky for Alyssa, she finds the one boy who's even better at leading a double life than she is. The two confide in each other about their lives and soon find the next level of the confusion of adolescence. Eventually, business partners and butlers collide and all Alyssa can do is try to dodge the shrapnel. But was it worth it if her friends are getting hurt along the way?
