Sidekicks. The sad, ever-suffering excuses of heroes - a title you tack onto someone who's trying, just not hard enough. Few can shed this sad label and pave their own path. I intend to be one of them. The heroes are crowding enough of the spotlight, in my opinion. It's time for me to step up. A boy fated for bigger purpose to an entire universe goes on an adventure.

I saw an Inktober post with several words that jumped out at me. So, I've turned it into a set of writing prompts. Most, if not all, of these will be from Being a Hero's universe. I hope y'all enjoy.

Any teenager knows that starting high school is the worst experience of their short lives. You're forced to associate with cliques, follow antiquated rules, conform to stereotypes, and also, be a hero. Except, for us, the last one is a little bit more literal. Not only do we have to navigate through high school, but we have to hold the pressure of being the next generation of superheroes as well.

Teens of an urban neighborhood discovers that they have super powers , which they realize is the coolest thing ever , and they learn to control their powers to help their city.
