It's only a matter of when Sonic decides to show off his collection over the years. Ep13: A guys day out becomes something sad about Silver's past. Ep14: Mephiles finally gets a pinpoint on where Iblis is. Ep15: Jeffery is greeted by one of his old friends, but what he doesn't realize is that his old pal wants Niki. Ep16: Rich girl, Chloe think that Niki is taking her fame, so she goes to villains to try and eradicate the hedgehog. Ep17: Many secrets are kept and poured out between people. It all started with a strange dream - one of which included an almost dark reflection of himself. A very clichè one often found in books and media. However it was some sort of warning. Sonic couldn't shake the dream, meaning recognising the strange infection that had taken over Green Hills was an almost immediate thing. It didn't mean that he couldn't stop it however. Green Hills was no longer a thriving place, but a desolate waste land where pasts were now behind everyone for all the wrong reasons. Rivals teamed up to survive - as did friends and family. The warming humility of Green Hills was gone in almost an instant, all morals were merely a figment of the past. It was everybody for themselves. He had struggled to save Green Hills in the beginning, but he wouldn't let it go without a fight.

Sonic and his friends have reached the labyrinth zone to confront Eggman and his evil doing. While doing so the most inconvenient thing had happened to Sonic, leading his friends to leave him behind. After the incident however, no one has heard anything from team Sonic making Shadow investigate the situation before Eggman gets the hint and attacks the mobians. (not my art)
