The Land of Will has always been a small, peaceful and quiet village it was also a very wealthy village and was ruled under the royal family. After the fall of the king, King Bunichio, the village was looked as weak and vulnerable. Bunichiro's wife, Queen Ayuki, fear that other villages or nations might take advantage of the kingless village and attack, ordered for anyone who was eligible and capable of becoming a shinobi to be sent off to allied villages to train amongst them.  The Land of Will did not have well trained Shinobi, they had no use for them as the king was great to negotiate and handle conflicts. 
  
  Ashuri was one of the lucky ones, she had always dreamed of becoming a full-fledged shinobi and one day become a member of the ANBU. The orders were simple. You were categorized by ages/class and then sent off to the villages.  Ashuri and her group were sent off to the village hidden in the leaves where she was assigned to Kakashi Hataka's team.
