"Tell me you don't love me!" Patrick yelled at me as I looked blankly at him. "Tell me you don't care anymore!"
I sighed in unison with him and stared down at the floor for a while. The silence was uncomfortable, but it was needed. I needed a bit to think. Was this the only way to make him leave? Did it really have to be this?
After a bit of silence he yelled again. "Huh? Are you going to say it?" he said with tears running down his sad cheeks. I looked up with the most solemn face I had ever given or seen. Emotion built up inside of me but I refused to let it out.
"I don't love you Patrick."
